200 color copies of this flyer, along with multiple CHAACo promotional posters to bring awareness to our work, were printed and distributed at the 2026 American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting.
Smaller sets of Immigrant Solidarity flyers have been distributed at local events across the country.
CHAACo is looking into funding membership of certain allied organizations to help our volunteers engage with their resources and member communities. This will help us build critical skills and awareness for our work and deepen our interconnectedness with the wider cultural heritage community.
$12 will cover the cost of keeping our website domain name for 1 year
$50 will pay for a modest run of "sponsored" social media posts or ads on one platform to help get the word out about CHAACo's resources and mission, especially our Immigrant Solidarity and ICE Preparedness tools.
$100 will cover printing costs for 200 copies of our Immigrant Solidarity and ICE Preparedness informational flyer, to distribute at cultural heritage conferences.
$32 will purchase 250 basic business cards for CHAACo to share at conferences
set up email management tools to help us get the word out (costs TBD)
get a paid video call plan for more flexible meeting options
engage lawyers to review our immigrant aid resources and assist with ICE preparedness training
host modest in-person events to build community solidarity and solutions-oriented networking
subsidize costs for volunteers to do outreach and education at conferences in our sector
$500 per year: A future goal: get a paid Airtable database plan to provide more powerful tools for our job board and resource hub, including precise location based searches, automated emails to interested job seekers, better submission form features, and more, possibly including the ability to create a synced network of interconnected free job boards to share with volunteer-run, nonprofit regional associations. (Sustained funding of about $500 per year would get us two seats on the basic "Team" paid plan.)
If you can only provide support if it is tax-deductible or to organizations with 501(c) nonprofit status, we're working on it! Please read more on How to Contribute, linked at the top of this page.
